Fellbeck Home Care is a new, locally run home care service being set up in Appleby. We're building a small team to help people across Appleby and the surrounding villages keep living well in the place they know.
Our approach
The kind of care we're setting out to give
We're preparing to register with the Care Quality Commission to provide personal care in people's own homes. Until that registration is in place we won't provide any care, but here's what we're building towards.
Unhurried
Visits long enough to do things properly, never squeezed into a rushed rota.
Local
A small team who live and work in the valley and know its roads and its weather.
Familiar
The same faces wherever we can, so people get to know who's coming through the door.
Open
Clear communication with the people we support and, where they agree, their families.
Where we'll work
Starting in Appleby and the villages around it
We'll begin with a small area so that visits are on time and our team isn't stretched across the county. We're currently looking at:
- Appleby-in-Westmorland
- Dufton
- Warcop
- Kirkby Stephen
- Orton
- Tebay
Our final area will depend on our team and on keeping visits reliable. If you're nearby and interested, get in touch anyway.
